HUBUNGAN VOLUME, KECEPATAN DAN KEPADATAN DI JALAN LIMBOTO RAYA DENGAN MODEL LINIER GREENSHIELDS

Basically, there is a basic relationship among three main variable in which often be used in learning attitude of traffic flow, are, Volume, speed, and density. The popular model in which is used to get the relationship among the three variables is Greenshields Linier model. To get traffic speed and volume in this will be used as the basis for explaining the relationship of the three variables by the use of Greenshields Linier model, so, it is required to conduct a field survey on internodes of Jalan Limboto Raya. Volume survey is conducted manually, that is, by noting down every vehicle in which pass through it based on its group. Speed survey also is conducted manually, that is, by the use of stopwatch to count time of fast rate of vehicle in the internodes of road. Meanwhile, density variable is gotten by dividing traffic volume with speed. Based on the result, analytically, the relationship between Limboto - Gorontalo city speed – density get the correlation coefficient (r) = 0,9496, determination coefficient (r²) = 0,9018, Gorontalo city – Limboto, r = 0,9448, r² = 0,8927. the relationship between Limboto - Gorontalo city volume – speed, r = 0,99026, r² = 0,98061,Gorontalo city – Limboto, r = 0,92529 r² = 0,856168. the relationship between Gorontalo city – Limboto volume – density, r = 0,9982, r² = 0,996, Gorontalo city – Limboto r = 0,9332, r² = 0,8709. it shows there is basic relationship among speed – density, volume – speed, and volume – density variables seen from correlation and determination coefficient score in which show higher score, meanwhile, graphically, it can not prove curve condition as what is shown by Greenshields yet
