Author Guidelines

Please read and understand the author's guidelines for the preparation manuscript. The author who submits a manuscript to the editors should comply with the author's guidelines and template.

If the submitted manuscript does not comply with the guidelines or using a different format, it will be rejected by the editorial team before being reviewed.

The editorial team will only accept a manuscript that meets the specified formatting requirements. This template is designed to assist Author in preparing manuscript; it is an exact representation of the format expected by the editor. To use template, please just Save As this MS Word file to your document, then copy and paste your document here. All papers submitted to the journal should be written in English or Bahasa.  

PAPER FORMAT

  • The word limit for the submission is 2000-5000 words (including of endnotes and abstract). 
  • The sequence of manuscripts following: Title; Abstract; Keywords; Introduction; Output; Implementation MethodMain Heading Discussion; Conclusion; and References.
  • Referencing style uses the Chicago Manual of Style.

Title

Title of articles are written with Palatino Linotype Bold (20 pt) and preferably not more than 14 words. Author(s) name, affiliations and e-mail.

Abstract

The abstract should be clear, concise, and descriptive. This abstract should provide a brief introduction to the problem, output, followed by a statement regarding the implementation method and a brief summary of results. Font with Palatino Linotype Italic (10 pt) and preferably not more than 300 words.

Keywords

Keywords arranged by alphabetically and should have at least two keywords and maximum five keywords separated by a semicolon (;).

Introduction

The introduction should be clear and provide the community issue to be discussed in the manuscript. At the end of the paragraph, the author/s should end with a comment on the significance concerning identification of the issue and the objective of research.

Output

is a brief statement of what the devotion activity wants to produce, consisting of at least 1 paragraph.

Implementation Method

describes the methods and approaches used during the implementation of service programs / activities.

Result and Discussion

This section is the most important section of your article. Contains the results of the object of study and should be clear and concise.

Conclusion 

Conclusion contains a description that should answer the objectives of research. Do not repeat the Abstract or simply describe the results of the research. Give a clear explanation regarding the possible application and/or suggestions related to the research findings.

References

DAS SEIN Journal uses the Chicago Manual of Style in the References at the end of the manuscript. Cite only items that you have read and written on footnotes. Please use Reference Manager Applications like EndNote, Mendeley, Zotero, etc. Use other published articles in the same journal as models. All publications cited in the text should be included in the References section and arranged alphabetically.

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  2. The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, doc., RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
  3. The text or the format of article is already appropriate with our article Template or please refer to Author Guideline first.
  4. The text is 1,15-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  5. The manuscript that already submitted will become an authority of editor, and the editor reserves the right to edit it without changing the content.
  6. If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.

5. Co-Authorship

If the article was jointly prepared by more than one author, any authors submitting the manuscript warrants that he/she has been authorized by all co-authors to be agreed on this copyright and license notice (agreement) on their behalf, and agrees to inform his/her co-authors of the terms of this policy. DAS SEIN: Jurnal Pengabdian Hukum & Humaniora will not be held liable for anything that may arise due to the author(s) internal dispute. DASSEIN Journal will only communicate with the corresponding author.

6. Royalties

Being an open accessed journal and disseminating articles for free under the Creative Commons license term mentioned, author(s) aware that DAS SEIN: Jurnal Pengabdian Hukum & Humaniora entitles the author(s) to no royalties or other fees.
