Kultur Pisang Gapi (Musa acuminata L.) secara In Vivo dari Anakan yang Direndam dengan Air Kelapa

Abstract


Banana is one of the most important cultivated plants for people in tropical and subtropical regions. Bananas are also a plant that has a fairly high economic value if cultivated intensively by applying proper technology, and can provide high profits. Banana plants are one of the types of herbal plant fruits. As an important part of the main product, banana plants consist of roots, stems, leaves, flowers, and fruit. These plant parts play a role in living activities such as absorption, water, respiration, photosynthesis, transport of nutrients and reproduction. This research aimed to determine the effect of adding coconut water on the growth of gapi banana saplings through in vivo. The research was conducted from March to September 2022 in Huluduotamo Village, SuwawaSubdistrict, BoneBolango Regency. This study was designed based on a randomized block design (RBD) using for concentrations of coconut water, namely 0, 50, 100 and 150 ml/L of water. Each treatment was soaked for two hours and repeated four times so that there were 16 experimental units. The results of the data analysis showed that the concentration of coconut water had no significant effert on the variable of height of banana saplings and the number of leaves.
