Pengaruh Plant Growth Promoting Rhizobacteria (PGPR) dari Akar Bambu terhadap Pertumbuhan Tanaman Serai Wangi (Cymbopogon nardus L.)
Abstract
Citronella grass is a plant that can be extracted into an essential oil that contains many benefits. The Growth of this plant can actually be enhanced by giving Plant Growth Promoting Rhizobacteria (PGPR). This study aims to know the growth and to know which PGPR is more effective. This study conducted from October 2020 to January 2021 in Bali III Street, Liluwo Sub-district, Kota Tengah District, Gorontalo City. This study uses a random group design with 4 treatments of PGPR of bamboo root 0, 10, 20, and 30 m/liter of water and repeatedly done 3 times. The observed parameterson the plant are the height, amount of leaves. And the number of tillers. The data obtained are analyzed by using variance (Anova) and continued by BNT 5% test. The result of this study shows that the treatment of giving PGPR of bamboo root given to citronella grass affects the height, amount of leaves, and amount of tillers. It also shows that the preeminent treatment given to citronella grass is the treatment in 30 ml/liter of water.
