Pertumbuhan Awal Benih Jeruk Nipis (Citrus aurantifolia) dengan Perlakuan Beberapa Taraf Konsentrasi Suspensi dan Lama Perendaman Jamur Endofit

Abstract


Endophytic fungi are fungi that live in plant tissue. The research aimed to find out the influence of endophytic fungi on the growth of key lime, to obtain the concentration of endophytic fungi for the growth of key lime, to obtain the immersion time on the growth of key lime, and to obtain the interaction among the the concentrations of the initial immersion time of the key lime. This research was conducted from October to November 2019 at the State University ofGorontalo. It applied factorial Randomized Block Design (RBD), where the treatment consisted of two factors. The first factor was suspension concentration of fungi consisting of 5 levels: 0%, 25%, 50%, 75%, and 100%. The second factor was immersion time consisting of three levels: 1, 6, and 12 hours. The research finding revealed that the treatment of suspension concentration of endophytic  fungi with a range of 0-100% and immersion time of 1, 6, and 12 hours had an insignificant influence on the height of key lime seeds. In addition, the appropriate concentration of endophytic fungi for the initial growth of key lime was at the concentration 0f 100% and 6 hours was the effective immersion time on the growth of key lime. Also, there was an interaction between fungi suspensions and immersion time on the height gain of key lime seeds. Meanwhile, there was no interaction on the increase of the number of leaves, the area of leaves, and the number of normal seeds.
