Prediksi Erosi dan Penetapan Nilai Erosi yang Dapat Ditoleransi pada Pertanaman Jagung di Desa Huluduatomo Kecamatan Suwawa Kabupaten Bone Bolango

Abstract


The process of soil erosion is influenced by several factors.Those factors are rain erosivity, soil erodibility, slope and its length, grown cover crops, and soil conservation. This study aims to know how far the erossion can be predicted and how to determine the tolerable erosion value in corn. This study is conducted from Augusts to October 2020 in Huluduatomo, Suwawa District, Bone Bolango District. This study uses USLE (Universail Soil Loss Equation) as the method in determining several factors such as rain erosivity, soil erodibility, slope and its length, plant factor and soil conservation measures. To analyse the data obtained, it uses the laboratory in Faculty of Agriculture at Hassanuddin University, Makassar. The result of this study shows that the erosion occured in corn field with the 4% slope without any treatment of conservation has 655,349 tons/ha/year. Meanwhile, the tolerable erosion value is 8,96 ton/ha/year.
