RESPON PERTUMBUHAN DAN HASIL TANAMAN TOMAT (Solanum lycopersicum L.) PADA KONSENTRASI DAN INTERVAL WAKTU PEMBERIAN PUPUK ORGANIK CAIR BONGGOL PISANG

Abstract


Tomato plants (Solanum lycopersicum L.) are among of the leading horticultural commodities that contribute  important economic value in Indonesia. Besides having high nutritional value, it contains vitamin C and vitamin A (carotene), it is also one of the popular agricultural commodities whose plants can be planted in the yard area. This s research ains to obtain maximum tomato production and benefit health by reviewing tomato plant’s growth response and production using liquid organic fertilizer made from banana stems. This research was conducted in Sipatana District, Bulotada'a Village, Gorontalo City from July to September 2024. This research used a factorial Randomized Group Design (RAK) research method. The first factor was Concentration (K) namely; K0 (control), K1 (10%), K2 (20%), K3 (30%), and the second factor is Time Interval (W), namely; W1 (every 3 days), W2 (every 5 days), W3 (every 7 days), and W4 (every 9 days). The results of the research were analyzed using Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) showing that the concentration and time interval for applying banana hump liquid organic fertilizer had no significant effect on the growth and production of tomato plants (plant height, age at which flowers appeared, number of fruit per plant, weight of fruit, and fruit diameter).
