UJI POTENSI Trichoderma sp ISOLAT LOKAL DAN INTRODUKSI UNTUK MENGENDALIKAN Rhizoctonia solani PENYEBAB PENYAKIT HAWAR PELEPAH PADA BEBERAPA VARIETAS TANAMAN JAGUNG (Zea mays L)
Abstract
Corn is a vital agricultural commodity with significant contributions to Indonesia’s economy. This research aimed to identify the most effective type of Trichoderma sp. In controling Rhizoctonia solani, the cause of sheath blight disease, i the Momala and Lamuru varieties. The study was conducted in the GreenHouse and Laboratory of the Agricultural Plant Protection Agency (BALINTAN) in Gorontalo Province using a two-factorial Completely Randomized Design (CRD). The first factor was the type of Trichoderma sp , conisting of T0,T1, and T2 treatment. The second factor was the variety, compirisng momala (V1) and Lamuru (V2). Parameters observed included incubation period, disease, incidence, and disease severity. Data were analyzed using Analysis Of Varience (ANOVA) , followed by Duncan’s Multiple Range Test (DMRT) at a 5% significance level. Alinear regressions test was performed to acces growth rates. The result showes that Trichoderma sp isolat significantly influenced Rhizoctnonia solani disease. The most evvectife treatment for controling R.solani was the lical Trichoderma sp isolates, as indicated by the loongest incubation period, with an average of 18.59 days.
