PENGARUH BAHAN ORGANIK SEKAM PADI DAN PUPUK GANDASIL D TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN TANAMAN PAKCOY (Brassica rapa L.)

Abstract


This study aimed to determine the influence of rice husk and Gandasil D fertilizer and their interaction on the growth of bok choy plants, as well as to indentify the treatment that will provide the best impact on the growth of bok choy plants. The research was conducted in South Huntu Village, South Bulango District, Bone Bolango Regency, Gorontalo Province, from December 2022 to February 2023. The research design used was a Factorial Randomized Block Design (RBD) consisting of 2 factors. The first factor was rice husk (P) consisting of 5 levels : P0=10 kg soil (without rice husk), P1= 5 kg soil + 5 liters of rice husk, P2= 3.3 kg soil + 6.7 liters of rice husk, P3= 2.5 kg soil + 7.5 liters of rice husk, P4= 2 kg soil + 8 liters of rice husk. The second factor consisted of 2 levels: G0= without Gandasil D, G2= Gandasil 2 g/L water. The research results were analyzed using ANOVA with further testing using the Least significant Difference (LSD) test at the 5% significance level. The results showed that the treatment of rice husk  as a growing medium influenced plant height at the observation period of 21 days after planting (DAP) and the fresh  weight of plants. Meanwhile, Gandasil D fertilizer treatmenr significantly affected the parameter of plant height at the observation periods of 21 DAP and 35 DAP. There was no interaction between organic fertilizer (rice husk) and Gandasil D on plant height, leaf number, and fresh weight of plants. The treatment of growing medium (2 kg soil + 8 liters of rice husk) and Gandasil D 2 g/L water yielded the best results for the freshness of the plants.
