Abstract


The aim of this study was to determine the effect of plant growth regulators GA3 administration of early maturing coconut embryo germination Salak (GSK) is not yet mature and to know the germination rate and germination, the embryo early maturing coconut Salak (GSK) is not yet mature. The method used in this research using Complete Randomized Design (CRD) with six treatments and three replications. Each treatment used 10 embryos that embryonic research is needed 180 Coconut GSK. The results indicate that the substance of growth regulators GA3 greatly affect the speed of germination and embryo germination of immature coconut GSK (which comes from the age of nine months). and the concentration of GA3 70 ppm gave the optimal results of germination rate, concentration of GA3 50 ppm to 80 ppm gave the same results germination
