Abstract

The research aims determine the effect of chicken manure and Plant Growth Promoting Rhizobacteria (PGPR) of bamboo roots on the growth and yield of chili pepper (Capsicum frutescens L). This research was conducted from September to Desember 2022 in Huluduotamo Village, Suwawa Sub-district, Bone Bolango Regency. This study uses a factorial randomized design (RBD) consisting of 2 factors with 3 replications. The first factor of chicken manure consist of 3 levels, namely K0= Control, K1= 20 Tons/ha, and K2= 40 Tons/ha. The second factor PGPR of bamboo roots, consists of 3 levels, namely P0= Control, P1= 20 ml/liter, and K2= 40 ml/liter. Application of chicken manure at a dose of 20 tons/ha significantly affected plant height observation (growth), number of leaves 2,8 MSPT (Sunday After Planting), and  flowering time. Meanwhile, at a dose of 40 tons/ha of chicken manure, it significantly affected the observation (yield) of the number of fruit planted and the weight of the fruit per plot. The provision of PGPR of bamboo root with a concentration of 20 ml/liter significantly affected the observation (growth) of plant height of 4,8 MSPT, number of leaves 2,8 MSPT, and observation (yield) of the number of fruit plants. Giving bamboo root PGPR at a concentration of 40 ml/liter significantly affected growth observations (plant height 4,8 MSPT, number of leaves 2,8 MSPT, and yield observations (number of fruit plants). There was an interaction between chichen manure and bamboo root PGPR on the observation of growth (plant height) and yield (fruit weight per plot).
