HUBUNGAN KECERDASAN INTERPERSONAL DAN KONSEP DIRI DENGAN UNJUK KERJA GURU BIMBINGAN KONSELING DI SMA DAN SMK SE-KABUPATEN BANGGAI

Abstract: This research aimed to: 1) identify the correlation between interpersonal intelligence toward guidance and counseling teacher's performance, 2) identify the correlation between self concept toward guidance and counseling teachers' performance, 3) identify the correlation between interpersonal intelligence and self concept simultancously toward guidance and counseling teachers' performance of SMA and SMK at Kabupaten Banggai. The population of this research was 120 guidance and counseling teachers of SMA and SMK in Kabupaten Banggai. The sample was taken randomly and covered 89 guidance and counseling teachers. The method used in this research was quantitative approach with correlation design. The independent variables were Interpersonal Intelligence (X1), Self Concept (X2); and Guidance and Counseling Teachers' Performance (Y) as dependent variable. The data was analyzed by using regression analysis, product moment and double regression. The result of the research showed (1) there is a positive and significant correlation between the interpersonal intelligence toward guidance and counseling teachers' performance of SMA and SMK in Kabupten Banggai, (2) there is a positive and significant correlation between the self concept toward guidance and counseling teachers' performance of SMA and SMK in Kabupaten Banggai, (3) there is a positive and significant correlation between the interpersonal intelligence and self concept simultaneously toward guidance and counseling teachers' performance of SMA and SMK in Kabupaten Banggai.
