Abstract
Residential infrastructure refers to the various facilities and systems that support daily life in residential areas. This infrastructure is essential to ensure the comfort, safety, and quality of life for residents. Residential areas often face various problems that can affect the quality of life of their residents. Addressing these problems requires an integrated approach, collaboration between stakeholders, and effective policies for sustainable planning and management of residential areas. One solution to improve the quality of settlements is through the KKN Thematic Infrastructure community service program which aims to create quality settlements through sustainable waste management, which is expected to be an alternative solution offered to overcome settlement problems, especially in slum areas or areas with the potential to become slums. This activity will be carried out for 45 days in Molingkapoto Village, Kwandang District, North Gorontalo Regency. This village is dominated by land use in the form of plantations. The main problem of the community is the lack of waste management that is not handled properly. This condition is supported by the position of Molingkapoto Village as the city center in Kwandang District, Gorontalo Regency. The programs that have been implemented are Problem Identification and Potential Analysis which are continued with socialization and training activities as an effort to improve community knowledge and skills in overcoming waste problems in Molingkapoto Village.
