PERAN INTERVENSI STATIONARY BIKE DALAM MENURUNKAN TINGKAT KECEMASAN PADA DEWASA MUDA DENGAN GAYA HIDUP SEDENTARY
Abstract
Perilaku sedentary life pada dewasa muda semakin meningkat dan berkontribusi terhadap gangguan kesehatan fisik maupun psikologis. Aktivitas fisik aerobik diketahui memiliki efek positif terhadap kesehatan mental, namun penelitian spesifik yang mengkaji penggunaan stationary bike sebagai intervensi terstruktur pada dewasa muda sedentary masih terbatas. Penelitian ini memiliki kebaruan pada penggunaan stationary bike sebagai intervensi aerobik terstruktur yang ditujukan pada dewasa muda dengan gaya hidup sedentary, sebelumnya lebih banyak diteliti secara umum pada aktivitas fisik tanpa fokus pada satu modalitas latihan tertentu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh intervensi stationary bike terhadap tingkat kecemasan pada dewasa muda dengan gaya hidup sedentary. Penelitian menggunakan desain quasi-experimental dengan kelompok eksperimen dan kontrol menggunakan pendekatan pretest-posttest. Sampel berjumlah 40 responden yang dibagi menjadi dua kelompok. Intervensi berupa latihan stationary bike dilakukan tiga kali seminggu selama empat minggu dengan durasi 30 menit per sesi. Tingkat sedentary diukur menggunakan Sedentary Behaviour Questionnaire (SBQ) dan kecemasan diukur menggunakan Zung’s Self-rating Anxiety Scale (ZSAS). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya penurunan skor kecemasan yang signifikan pada kelompok eksperimen setelah intervensi (P-value = 0,000), sedangkan pada kelompok kontrol terjadi peningkatan skor kecemasan yang juga signifikan (P-value = 0,026). Analisis perbandingan antar kelompok pada tahap posttest menunjukkan perbedaan tingkat kecemasan yang bermakna secara statistik antara kelompok eksperimen dan kontrol (p = 0,001). Disimpulkan bahwa intervensi stationary bike efektif dalam menurunkan kecemasan pada dewasa muda dengan gaya hidup sedentary.
