PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN GROUP INVESTIGATION UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR DAN KEAKTIFAN MAHASISWA PADA PEMBELAJARAN BIOMEKANIKA OLAHRAGA

Abstract


Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran Group Investigation terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar dan keaktifan mahasiswa dalam pembelajaran mata kuliah Biomekanika Olahraga. Metode yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Subjek pada penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa semester 6 program studi Pendidikan Kepelatihan Olahraga Fakultas Ilmu Keolahragaan Universitas Negeri Semarang yang berjumlah 35 orang mahasiswa. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini yaitu tes, wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Penelitian ini dilakukan sebanyak 2 siklus, setiap siklus masing-masing dilaksanakan sebanyak 2 kali pertemuan. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya peningkatan hasil belajar dan keaktifan mahasiswa setelah mahasiswa mengikuti pembelajaran dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Group Investigation. Hal tersebut dibuktikan dengan perbedaan nilai rata-rata, persentase ketuntasan belajar mahasiswa dan peningkatan keaktifan mahasiswa antara siklus 1 dan siklus 2. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah model pembelajaran Group Investigation dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar dan keaktifan mahasiswa dalam pembelajaran mata kuliah Biomekanika Olahraga. Penelitian ini bisa dijadikan referensi bagi guru atau dosen dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar dan keatktifan mahasiswa.

This research aims to determine the effect of the Group Investigation on improving learning outcomes and student activity in learning the Sports Biomechanics. The method used is Action Research (PTK). The subjects in this research were students in the 6th semester of the Sports Coaching Education study program, Faculty of Sports Science, Semarang State University, totaling 35 students. Data collection techniques in this research are tests, interviews, observation and documentation. This research was carried out in 2 cycles, each cycle held 2 meetings. The results of this research show an increase in learning outcomes and student activities after students took part in learning using Group Investigation. This is evidenced by the differences in average scores, percentage of student learning completeness and increased student activity between cycle 1 and cycle 2. The conclusion of this research is that Group Investigation can improve learning outcomes and student activities in learning Sports Biomechanics. This research can be used as a reference for teachers or lecturers in an effort to improve learning outcomes and student activities.
