KAJIAN DAMPAK PERUBAHAN IKLIM DI DANAU POSO

Abstract

The climate crisis is a crisis experienced by people around the world due to climate change and greenhouse effect. Lake Poso has several strategic functions for people's lives, but in recent years, Lake Poso has experienced disturbances in ecosystem balance in the form of damage to the Catchment Area (DTA) with indicators of considerable erosion and sedimentation rates and increasing land and border damage, a decrease in lake water quality as a result of water pollution by household, agricultural and industrial waste, and the threat of eel fish preservation as endemic biota of Lake Poso waters. This study aims to analyze the impact of climate change on the Lake Poso area using the literature review method through various sources such as journals and other references. The results of the study also showed a comparison table of the impact of climate change on several regions. In addition, the management strategy efforts on the utilization of Lake Poso functions.
