Gambaran Rasionalitas Penggunaan Obat pada Pasien Gerd (Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease) Rawat Jalan di Rumah Sakit Malingping

Abstract


Gastric reflux disease, or GERD is a disease that often attacks Indonesian people. While ulcers are a symptom of increased stomach acid, GERD is a disease triggered by stomach acid which allows stomach acid to rise into the esophagus. Every year, GERD becomes more common. Errors in therapy, dosage, treatment regimen, execution, and indication data all contribute to therapeutic failure. The aim of this study was to evaluate the appropriateness of drug use in patients with gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) at the Malingping Hospital outpatient facility. Technique This study did not use a qualitative methodology and did not use medical records of GERD patients collected retrospectively. There were sixty samples used in the study that met the inclusion criteria. The results showed a reasonable proportion of GERD (Gastroesophageal Reflux Disorder) patients without comorbidities. This percentage is determined by considering many factors, including the following: the right drug (100%), the right indication (100%), the right dose (100%), the right way of taking it (100%), and the right time (100%).
