INTOKSIKASI METANOL (STUDI KASUS)

Abstract

Methanol is the simple chemistry structure of alcohol, but the most toxic compare with another group of it. Toxicity to human usually by drinking. The letal dose of methanol is 30-500 ml depend on every individual. Acute phase of methanol intoxication consist fatigue, nausea, vomiting and temporary blurred vision. The moderate state with headache, dizziness, depression central nervous system and permanent blurred vision. Severe intoxication more progressif by decrease of respiration and pulse rate, comateus and death. Will be reported a case,male, 35 years old with decrease of conciseness after drinking of lapen that contain of methanol.
