Author Guidelines

Authors are invited to submit original, high-quality, and previously unpublished research that aligns with the scope of the International Journal of Embedded Computer Engineering (IJEmCE). Manuscripts must be prepared according to the following guidelines:

Manuscript Format

  • File format: Microsoft Word (.docx) or LaTeX (.tex, with PDF)

  • Language: English (clear and grammatically correct)

  • Length: 6–15 pages (including tables, figures, and references)

  • Font: Times New Roman, 12 pt, single column, single line spacing

  • Structure:

    1. Title (concise, informative)

    2. Abstract (150–250 words)

    3. Keywords (3–6 words)

    4. Introduction

    5. Related Work / Literature Review

    6. Methodology

    7. Results and Discussion

    8. Conclusion

    9. Acknowledgements (if any)

    10. References

Referencing Style

  • Use APA (7th Edition) citation style.

  • Examples:

    • Journal article: Author, A. A., & Author, B. B. (Year). Title of article. Journal Title, 10(2), 123–134. https://doi.org/xxxx

    • Book: Author, A. A. (Year). Title of work. Publisher.

    • Conference paper: Author, A. A. (Year). Title of paper. In Proceedings of the Conference Name (pp. 10–15). Publisher.

Supplementary Files
Authors may upload supplementary files to enhance the reproducibility of their work, such as datasets, source code, figures, or multimedia content.

 

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  2. The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
  3. Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  4. The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  5. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  6. If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.

Authors are not required to pay an article submission fee. Submissions to IJEmCE are completely free of charge at the submission stage.

Fast-Track Review: 150000.00 (IDR)
IJEmCE offers a fast-track review option at this time. All submissions are processed through the standard peer-review procedure at an additional cost.

Article Publication: 0.00 (IDR)
IJEmCE does not charge Article Processing Charges (APCs). Publication in the journal is free of charge to ensure open and accessible dissemination of knowledge.

Since IJEmCE does not charge any fees (submission, or publication), a waiver policy is not applicable. All accepted articles are published free of charge.
