Design and build a DMX512 fixture based on Atmega2560.

Abstract


Sistem pencahayaan panggung membutuhkan protokol komunikasi yang andal untuk mendukung kontrol waktu nyata. DMX512 adalah standar industri yang banyak digunakan karena mampu mengontrol beberapa perangkat secara bersamaan dengan sinkronisasi yang baik. Penelitian ini merancang dan mengimplementasikan perlengkapan DMX512 berbasis ATmega2560 yang mendukung mode master dan slave serta mengintegrasikan LED WS2812B yang dapat dialamatkan sebagai output visual. Metode yang digunakan meliputi desain perangkat keras, pengembangan firmware, pengukuran sinyal DMX512, dan pengujian kompatibilitas dengan perangkat komersial. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa sistem mampu menghasilkan parameter sinyal yang sesuai dengan standar, yaitu jeda 90 μs, MAB 10 μs, dan slot waktu 44 μs, dan dapat beroperasi secara stabil baik dalam mode master maupun slave. Pengujian kompatibilitas juga menunjukkan bahwa prototipe dapat berkomunikasi dengan baik dengan perangkat DMX512 komersial. Dengan demikian, sistem yang dikembangkan layak sebagai solusi alternatif yang lebih ekonomis, fleksibel, dan kompatibel dengan standar DMX512.
