RESPON PEMBERIAN PUPUK KASCING TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN DAN HASIL TANAMAN TOMAT (Lycopersicum esculentum Mill.) DALAM SKALA RUMAH TANGGA

Abstract


This research aims to determine the effect and the right dosage of vermicompost fertilizer for the growth and yield of tomato plants. This research was carried out from august to November 2023 in Lakeya Village, Tolangohula Sub District,Gorontalo Regency, Gorontalo Province. This research was conducted in the form of a Randomized Group Design, containing 4 treatments with 3 replication, thus grams, and K3: 500 grams. The observation variables are plant height, number of leaves, number of fruit, and fruit weight. Furthermore, the analysis of observational data was carried out using the analysis of variance (ANOVA). If there are significantly different treatments, then the Duncan Multiple Range Test (DMRT) is carried out at a level of 5%. The research results regarding the effect of vermicompost fertilizer on the growth and yield of tomato plants (Lycopersicum esculentum Mill.) on a household scale provide the best effect on vegetative and generative growth. The dosage of K3 vermicompost fertilizer (500 gr) is the best treatment for the growth and yield of tomato plants
