Pengaruh Media Tanam Serbuk Kayu dan Pupuk Organik (POC) Sabut Kelapa Terhadap Pertumbuhan dan Hasil Tanaman Selada (Lactuca sativa L.)

Abstract


Fertilizer use tends to be high as lettuce cultivation increases due to the high demand for lettuce plants on the market. This research aims to determine the effect of plant growth and yield and their interaction on the planting medium of sawdust and coconut fiber liquid organic fertilizer (POC) on lettuce plants (Lactuca sativa L.). This research was conducted at Kedai Organik, Pulubala Village, Kota Tengah District, Gorontalo City from March to May 2024. This research design used a factorial completely randomized design (CRD). Consisting of two factors, the first factor is sawdust planting media (T) consisting of 3 levels, namely T0 (control), T1 (soil 1 : wood powder 1), T2 (soil 2 : wood powder 1), and the second factor is coconut fiber liquid organic fertilizer (P) consisting of 3 levels, namely P0 (control), P1 (100 ml/liter of water), and P2 (150 ml/liter of water). The data obtained was analyzed using ANOVA (Analysis of variance), and if there is a significant influence, further tests will be carried out using DMRT (Duncen Multiple Range) 5%. The results of this research show that the treatment with wood powder planting media and coconut fiber liquid organic fertilizer did not have a real effect on the growth and yield of lettuce plants, and there was no interaction between the wood powder planting media treatment and coconut fiber liquid organic fertilizer on the growth and yield of lettuce plants.
