Tim Apoteker dan Tim IYPG IAI Gorontalo dalam Bantuan Kesehatan Korban Banjir di Gorontalo

Abstract


Banjir di Provinsi Gorontalo yang terjadi pada bulan juli tahun 2024 menyebabkan dampak yang signifikan terhadap kesehatan masyarakat, memerlukan tindakan cepat dari tim relawan medis. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan bantuan kesehatan kepada korban banjir melalui pelayanan medis darurat, edukasi kesehatan, dan distribusi obat-obatan. Tim medis relawan bekerja sama dengan pemerintah setempat dan komunitas lokal untuk memastikan penanganan kesehatan yang efektif dan tepat sasaran. Metode pengabdian dengan memberikan layanan kesehatan yang mencakup pemberian obat-obat untuk meredakan penyakit akut, pencegahan penyakit menular, beberapa suplemen menunjang kesehatan, makanan, minuman, kebutuhan bayi, manula  serta beberapa kebutuhan untuk menunjang pemulihan kondisi kesehatan masyarakat pascabencana. Pengabdian dilakukan dibeberapa titk pasca banjir wilayah kota dan kabupaten gorontalo. Hasil kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa respons cepat relawan dalam memberikan bantuan kesehatan berhasil mengurangi angka kejadian penyakit pascabencana dan meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat akan pentingnya kesiapsiagaan menghadapi bencana. Selain itu banyak masyarakat yang sangat terbantu dengan kegiatan ini dilihat dari respon saat tim memberikan bantuan. Kegiatan ini menegaskan pentingnya kolaborasi lintas sektor dan pelatihan berkelanjutan bagi relawan medis dalam menghadapi situasi darurat bencana.
