Pemanfaatan Teknologi Digital Dalam Monitoring Mahasiswa Studio Akhir Jurusan Teknik Arsitektur

Abstract

The supervision of the Final Studio course in the Architectural Engineering Study Program, Faculty of Engineering, Gorontalo State University (UNG) still faces obstacles in the form of monitoring student progress that has not been systematically documented, the supervision schedule has not been digitized, and the weak track record of design development. This study aims to describe the process and results of the development of a simple digital monitoring system called E-Studio as an effort to improve the Tridharma of lecturer implementation of duties. The study uses an action research approach that is implemented in five stages over five weeks, namely needs identification, system design, socialization, implementation, and evaluation. Data were collected through field observations, discussions with studio coordinators, and feedback from supervisors and students, then analyzed descriptively-qualitatively with the support of Likert scale analysis to determine priority issues. The results show that the implementation of E-Studio improves the regularity of the supervision process, transparency of progress stages, student discipline in uploading assignments, and efficiency of evaluation by lecturers. This study recommends strengthening regulations through Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), integration with the institution's Learning Management System (LMS), and expanding the application of the system to other project-based courses as a sustainable measure.
