PENINGKATAN INFRASTRUKTUR SANITASI BERBASIS MASYARAKAT DI DESA DULOHUPA MELALUI MODEL PARTISIPASI PENGELOLAAN SAMPAH DAN LIMBAH DOMESTIK
Abstract
Sanitation and waste management issues remain a major concern in Dulohupa Village, Telaga Subdistrict, Gorontalo Regency. Through the Infrastructure-themed Community Service Program (KKN) conducted by the Gorontalo State University's Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM), the existing conditions of sanitation and waste management were identified and a community-based management model was developed. This study used a qualitative descriptive approach through observation, interviews, and group discussions. The results of the activity showed the successful mapping of the village's sanitation and waste infrastructure problems, the preparation of a Detailed Engineering Design (DED) and a Budget Plan (RAB) for the construction of a TPS3R, and the formation of a Maintenance and Utilization Group (KPP) as the facility manager. This participatory model strengthens the social capacity of the community in planning and maintaining infrastructure in a sustainable manner.
