Penerapan Sistem Informasi Desa menggunakan OpenSID Terintegrasi OpenDK Pada Desa Tumbuh Mekar melalui program KKN MBKM UNG

Abstract

Community Service Program is a higher education program that aims to apply science and technology in making a positive contribution to society. This journal documents KKN activities carried out by students of the Information Systems Study Program, the Department of Informatics FT-UNG in Grow Mekar Village, Bone District, Bone Bolango Regency. Gorontalo Province. The main objective of this KKN activity is to empower the Mandiri Village community through the creation of a Village Information System (SID) and the development of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the region. This research was conducted in several stages, which included initial studies to understand the needs and problems of the Mandiri Village community, application design, development, trials, and overall project implementation. During the KKN process, students also provide training and assistance to MSME owners in terms of using applications and business development strategies. The results of this KKN activity show an increase in the use of information technology in Mandiri Village. With the Village Information System Application, the community can access important information about public services, environmental conditions, and other local potentials. In addition, through mentoring and training, local MSMEs have succeeded in increasing operational efficiency and increasing access to markets through the use of technology. In conclusion, Community Service Program activities with a focus on making Village Information System Applications and MSME development have the potential to empower rural communities and improve their quality of life. With the synergy between universities, students and the community, this effort is able to have a positive and sustainable impact on the development of rural areas and empowering the local economy.
