Abstract

Mamungaa Timur Village is one of the flood-prone villages located in Bulawa Sub-district, Gorontalo Regency. Lack of knowledge and community unpreparedness in facing disasters can be a trigger factor for various problems in the village. This is the basis of the core program of the UNG 2024 MBKM KKN Student Community Service. The main objective of this service is to implement the core program of students by establishing a Disaster Resilient Village (Destana) through the creation of a WebGIS system in East Mamungaa Village. However, there are several obstacles to this service, where there is low community participation in the formation of the Destana forum, and there are technical challenges in collecting data for the benefit of WebGIS development. With an in-depth communication approach and intensive education and solid cooperation between KKN students, village officials, and youth organizations, Mamungaa Timur Village can strengthen their synergy in achieving village development and resilience to disasters that can come at any time.
