Sosialisasi Inovasi Media Digital Interaktif untuk Mendukung Pembelajaran Anak Usia Dini di TK Negeri Pembina Kota Gorontalo

Abstract

This community service program focuses on enhancing teachers’ capacity at TK Negeri Pembina Kota Gorontalo through the socialization and training of interactive digital learning media. The program is motivated by the growing need for more engaging and developmentally appropriate learning experiences for early childhood education in the digital era. Although technology has become an integral part of education, most early childhood teachers at TK Negeri Pembina Kota Gorontalo still have limited skills in utilizing digital platforms such as Canva and Wordwall. Preliminary analysis indicates that the use of digital learning media at the school remains low, despite evidence that interactive media can improve children’s learning motivation, concentration, and participation. The implementation of this program adopts a service learning approach, in which activities are collaboratively designed based on the real needs of the partner institution. The training process includes demonstrations, hands-on practice, mentoring, and reflective sessions, enabling teachers to independently apply digital learning technologies in classroom instruction. The program is expected to generate significant impacts for teachers, learners, and the institution. Teachers gain improved digital competence and instructional skills, while children experience more engaging and developmentally appropriate learning activities. Furthermore, the school benefits from the availability of sustainable digital learning media. The outputs of this program include training activities, digital learning media products, community service documentation, and publications that support the achievement of higher education Key Performance Indicators.
