1. License

All articles published in Estudiante Law Journal are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-SA 4.0). This license permits unrestricted use, distribution, and reproduction in any medium, provided that the original work is properly cited and any derivative works are distributed under the same license.

2. Author(s)’ Warranties

The author(s) hereby warrant that:

  • The submitted manuscript is original and has been written by the stated author(s);
  • The work has not been previously published and is not under consideration elsewhere;
  • The manuscript does not contain unlawful statements or infringe upon the rights of any third party;
  • The copyright is solely owned by the author(s) and is free from any third-party claims;
  • All necessary permissions for the use of copyrighted materials (if any) have been properly obtained.

3. User Rights

In line with the open-access mission of Estudiante Law Journal, all published content is made freely accessible to the public. Under the CC BY-SA 4.0 license, users are permitted to:

  • Adapt, remix, transform, and build upon the material for any purpose.

All users must provide appropriate attribution to the author(s) and Estudiante Law Journal when reusing or distributing the work.

4. Rights of Authors

Authors retain full copyright and proprietary rights over their published work, including but not limited to:

  1. Copyright and other related rights, such as patent rights;
  2. The right to use the content of the article in future works, including books and lectures;
  3. The right to reproduce and distribute the article for personal or academic purposes;
  4. The right to enter into separate, non-exclusive agreements for the distribution of the published version of the article (e.g., institutional repositories or edited volumes), provided that proper acknowledgment of its initial publication in Estudiante Law Journal is included.

5. Co-Authorship

For manuscripts with multiple authors, the submitting (corresponding) author warrants that all co-authors have agreed to the submission and to the terms of this copyright and licensing policy. The corresponding author is responsible for communicating these terms to all co-authors.

Estudiante Law Journal shall not be held liable for any disputes arising among authors. All correspondence regarding the manuscript will be conducted exclusively with the corresponding author.

6. Royalties

As an open-access journal operating under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-SA 4.0), Estudiante Law Journal does not provide royalties, honoraria, or any form of financial compensation to the author(s) for published works.
