- Each author should confirm their authorship, and we encourage to involve international collaboration and female author. Authorship misconduct will result in several sanctions and even bans for author(s).
- We cannot accommodate 'massive submissions' from a particular institution or author/co-author. We suggest that the author and co-author submit their paper with a minimum gap of one year. If a specific name (either as main author or co-author) makes submissions too often, we will most likely reject the manuscript to prevent misconduct activities.
- Each author must have an ORCID ID; please create an account for those who don't have one. The ORCID link must be included during the submission process.
- Manuscripts must be related to the Contemporary Legal Issues in ASEAN and the Global Context. Manuscripts must show the advantages and uniqueness of the topic under research.
- The manuscript uses English with American style according to English Academic Writing
- A professional proofreader must check each manuscript for proofreading (proof of proofreading is included in the supplementary file). Authors should submit only papers that have been carefully proofread and polished. Manuscripts are accepted with the understanding that they are original or extended versions of previously published papers in conferences and journals and that, if the work received an official sponsorship, it has been duly released for open publication.
- Reference sources must be written clearly and completely.
- Citation models must use Mendeley's standard or Zotero citation application type: Chicago Manual Style (Author Fullnote) in Footnote form.
- Each manuscript should use our latest template. Please do not modify the Template.
- Each manuscript must also be accompanied by an Originality Statement signed by all authors, stamped with stamps on the correspondence/primary author, and scanned in PDF (not photographed).
- Each manuscript must be accompanied by proof of Proofread Professional whose validity can be traced
- For all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end of paragraph, and the text is 1-spaced; uses a 12-point font Cambria; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses).
- The manuscript that already submitted will become an authority of editor, and the editor reserves the right to edit it without changing the content.
Paper Format
The length of the manuscript should be no less than 7000 words (excluding abstract and references).

Title
The title manuscript should be Concise and Descriptive, No more than 18 words: Written with Cambria Font size 20pt and Bold, Center
Abstract
Abstracts should be written in one paragraph, in English. The writing of the title abstract is in bold while the substance is without bold using Cambria font size 10pt, 1 space, consisting of 150-250 words. The abstract contains at least: problems discussed, objectives of the paper, methods, discussion of results, conclusions and recommendations (if any).
Keywords
Keywords arranged by alphabetically and should have at least 3-5 keywords separated by a semicolon (;).
Introduction
The introduction should be clear and provide the community issue to be discussed in the manuscript. At the end of the paragraph, the author/s should end with a comment on the significance concerning identification of the issue and the objective of research.
The introduction should outline 1) the main context or issue that is the basis for writing the paper, 2) explain the relevance of the topic to the field of law and humanities with real problems in society, 3) there are previous studies that support the importance of the topic discussed to show the novelty of the problem or issue discussed, 4) use current and relevant references to show that the topic discussed is still actual.
Avoid overly long descriptions; the introduction should ideally be no more than 10-15% of the total length of the article.
Problem Statement
A problem statement is a concise and clearly articulated expression of the central issue that a research study or scientific paper seeks to address. It outlines the context of the problem, highlights its significance, and identifies gaps or shortcomings in existing research that warrant further investigation. The problem statement serves as the logical foundation for formulating research objectives and questions, and it guides the reader toward understanding the urgency and relevance of the study.
Methods
The method is descriptive and should provide a statement of the methodology of the research and the methods of activity applied in the assessment or collection of data, resulting in the apparent scientificity of the data. The method includes the approach used, and as much as possible provides the reader with an overview of the methods used.
Result and Discussion
This section is the most important part of your article. The analysis or results of the study should be clear and concise. The research results should summarize the (scientific) findings rather than provide the data in great detail. Please highlight the differences between your results or findings and previous publications by other researchers.
Conclusion
The conclusion contains a description that should answer the objectives of the research. Provide a clear and concise conclusion. Do not repeat the abstract or simply describe the results of the research. Give a clear explanation regarding the possible application and/or suggestions related to the research findings. One paragraph only and do not use bulleting or numbering.
Acknowledgement
This is optional. Recognize those who helped in the research, especially funding supporter of your research. Include individuals who have assisted you in your study: Advisors, Financial supporters, or may other supporter i.e., Proof-readers, Typists, and Suppliers who may have given materials.
References
JALREV uses the Chicago Manual of Style 17th full note edition in the References at the end of the manuscript. Cite only items that you have read and written on footnotes. Please use Reference Manager Applications like EndNote, Mendeley, Zotero, etc. Use other published articles in the same journal as models. All publications cited in the text should be included in the References section and arranged alphabetically.
