INTERVENSI LATIHAN HIGH INTENSITY INTERVAL TRAINING TERHADAP STRENGTH ENDURANCE OLAHRAGA PENCAK SILAT (EKSTRIMITAS BAWAH)
Abstract
Pencak silat merupakan olahraga beladiri dengan karakter full body contact. Komponen strength endurance ekstrimitas bawah ditinjau dari karateristik pertandingan pencak silat menjadi salah satu komponen yang mendukung performa atlet pencak silat khususnya kategori tanding. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh latihan Strength High Intensity Interval Training terhadap Strength Endurance ekstrimitas bawah pada atlet Pencak Silat Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta. Penelitian ini termasuk dalam penelitian eksperimen untuk mengetahui seberapa besar peningkatan Latihan High Intensity Interval Training terhadap peningkatan Strength Endurance. Teknik yang digunakan dalam pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling yang berjumlah 16 Atlet Pencak Silat Universitas Muhammdiyah Surakarta Kategori Tanding Pria. Metode penelitian menggunakan one group pretest posttest design dengan mengunakan instrumen tes double leg squat dengan Smith Machine. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini meliputi uji prasyarat analisis dan pengujian hipotesis. Uji prasyarat analisis meliputi uji normalitas dan uji homogenitas. Untuk uji beda menggunakan rumus T-test. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan uji hipotesis dapat dilihat bahwa Latihan Strength High Intensity Interval Training mempunyai nilai signifikansi 0,004 < 0,05 sehingga dapat dikatakan ada pengaruh yang signifikansi dari Latihan Strength High Intensity Interval Training pada atlet Pencak Silat kategori tanding UMS. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa model Latihan Strength High Intensity Interval Training dapat meningkatkan kemmpuan Strength Endurance atlet pencak silat kategori tanding UMS secara signifikan. Jika dilihat dari rerata pretest sebesar 872 dan nilai rerata posttest sebesar 1034 ,Hal tersebut meunjukan bahwa Latihan yang dilakukan memberikan peningkatan sebesar 162 atau mengalami peningkatan 18,5%.
