IMPLEMENTASI MULTIMODAL COGNITIVE TRAINING UNTUK MENINGKATKAN PERFORMA ATLET DARI PERSPEKTIF PSIKOLOGIS

Abstract


Performa atlet tidak hanya dipengaruhi oleh aspek fisik, teknik, dan taktik, tetapi juga aspek psikologis seperti konsentrasi, kepercayaan diri, motivasi, dan kontrol emosi. Namun, dalam praktiknya, aspek psikologis seringkali belum menjadi fokus utama dalam program latihan di Unit Kegiatan Mahasiswa (UKM) olahraga. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Multimodel Cognitive Training terhadap peningkatan performa psikologis atlet. Metode yang digunakan adalah eksperimen dengan desain one group Pretest-Posttest design. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari 40 atlet berbagai cabang olahraga di UKM Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia yang dipilih menggunakan teknik total sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa angket aspek psikologis atlet. Analisis data menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan uji paired sample t-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan nilai rata-rata dari 61,03 pada Pretest menjadi 74,53 pada Posttest. Hasil uji hipotesis menunjukkan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000 < 0,05, yang berarti terdapat perbedaan signifikan antara Pretest dan Posttest. Dengan demikian, Multimodel Cognitive Training berpengaruh signifikan dalam meningkatkan performa psikologis atlet.
