ANALISIS DETERMINAN INISIASI PRE-EXPOSURE PROPHYLAXIS (PREP) PADA POPULASI LELAKI SEKS DENGAN LELAKI (LSL) DI KABUPATEN BADUNG

Abstract


Inisiasi Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP) merupakan strategi pencegahan HIV yang direkomendasikan bagi populasi berisiko tinggi, termasuk lelaki yang seks dengan lelaki (LSL), dengan kebaruan penelitian ini terletak pada penekanan bahwa inisiasi PrEP lebih dipengaruhi oleh perilaku seksual berisiko serta pendekatan berbasis wilayah yang masih jarang dikaji. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi inisiasi PrEP pada LSL di Kabupaten Badung menggunakan desain observasional analitik dengan pendekatan cross-sectional terhadap 135 responden yang direkrut dari layanan PrEP di Puskesmas Kuta I, Kuta II, dan Kuta Selatan. Hasil deskriptif menunjukkan mayoritas responden berusia <25 tahun, memiliki pengetahuan dan persepsi yang kurang baik terhadap PrEP, serta perilaku seksual berisiko tinggi, termasuk seks anal, jumlah pasangan seksual lebih dari tiga, penggunaan kondom tidak konsisten, dan riwayat IMS yang tinggi. Analisis bivariat menunjukkan hubungan signifikan antara inisiasi PrEP dengan usia, riwayat seks anal, jumlah pasangan seksual, penggunaan kondom, penggunaan pelicin, riwayat IMS, dan paparan informasi PrEP, sedangkan analisis multivariat mengidentifikasi tiga faktor dominan yaitu usia <25 tahun, jumlah pasangan seksual >3, dan tidak pernah menggunakan kondom. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa perilaku seksual berisiko tinggi merupakan determinan utama inisiasi PrEP pada LSL.
