Focus and Scope
- Learning: Consists of theoretical and empirical research studies on science learning. Articles in this section focus on various approaches, methods, and models of teaching that enhance the effectiveness of science education at different educational levels.
- Issues and Trends: Consists primarily of analytical, interpretive, or persuasive essays on current educational, social, or philosophical issues and trends relevant to science teaching. This section aims to provide new perspectives on the challenges and developments in science education.
- Science Learning in Everyday Life: Consists of analytical, interpretative, or philosophical papers regarding learning science outside the formal classroom. The focus is on how science is learned and applied in everyday life and the role of informal learning in developing scientific literacy in society.
- Science Teacher Education: Consists of original empirical and/or theoretical research that examines the preparation of science teachers, their professional practices, or how their work is influenced by broader contexts. Articles in this section highlight innovations and challenges in science teacher education.
- Science Education Policy: Includes reports on the goals and/or underlying principles of policies adopted by governments, interest groups, school districts, and others, and their impact on science teaching and learning. This section seeks to connect education policies with teaching practices in the field.
- Science Studies and Science Education: Provides a forum for interdisciplinary investigations into science and science education. Articles in this section may cover cross-disciplinary studies that link scientific knowledge with pedagogical approaches in science education.
- Comments and Criticism: Provides a forum for the expression of differing viewpoints and the correction of misunderstandings regarding topics in published papers. Readers of the journal are strongly encouraged to contribute their ideas to this forum.

Peer Review Process
Jambura Pendidikan IPA publishes articles following JPIPA guidelines and templates. A pre-review of the manuscript was conducted by an editorial team to review the suitability of the text with the focus and scope and style of the journal and JPIPA writing guidelines. All manuscripts sent will go through a double-blind review process. Manuscripts will be sent to a minimum of two reviewers based on their field of specialization. Reviewers provide script assessments that include originality, scientific contributions, and presentation clarity. Based on the comments and suggestions from the editorial board reviewer made a decision on the reviewer's comments and suggestions. JPIPA has four types of decisions include accepted, accepted by minor revisions, accepted by major revisions, and rejected. Plagiarism examination is performed using Turnitin software.
Publication Frequency
JPIPA is scheduled for publication in February and August (2 issues a year). It is electronically published via the journal website (https://ejurnal.ung.ac.id/index.php/jpipa/index). Each issue number (issue) amounts to a minimum of five (5) the title and published article will be assigned a DOI (digital object identifier).
Open Access Policy
This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
By "open access" to this literature, we mean its free availability on the public internet, permitting any users to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of these articles, crawl them for indexing, pass them as data to software, or use them for any other lawful purpose, without financial, legal, or technical barriers other than those inseparable from gaining access to the internet itself. The only constraint on reproduction and distribution, and the only role for copyright in this domain, should be to give authors control over the integrity of their work and the right to be properly acknowledged and cited.
Archiving
This journal utilizes the LOCKSS system to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration. More...
