Pemanfaatan Media Sosial Untuk Meningkatkan Akses Informasi Masyarakat Terhadap Produk Beras Bulog Gorontalo
Abstract
The rapid advancement of information technology has encouraged government institutions, including Perum Bulog Gorontalo Branch Office, to use social media as a channel for public communication. This community service program aimed to improve public access to information about rice products provided by Bulog through the use of social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok. The program employed an outreach approach consisting of a material presentation and the screening of digital content produced during students’ internships. The activity was conducted in Huluduotomo Village, Suwawa District, Bone Bolango Regency, and was attended by 25 participants. The results indicate that participants showed high enthusiasm and were able to understand and independently access information through social media. The digital strategy implemented by Bulog Gorontalo was considered effective in disseminating product information, increasing public awareness, and fostering two-way communication between the institution and the community. These findings suggest that social media can serve as an adaptive, interactive, and responsive public service channel in the digital era.
