Peer Review Process

IJEmCE applies a double-blind peer review process, where the identities of both authors and reviewers are concealed. Each manuscript is reviewed by at least two independent reviewers with expertise in the relevant field.

Manuscripts are evaluated based on:

  • Relevance to the journal’s scope

  • Originality and novelty

  • Methodological rigor

  • Technical contribution and accuracy

  • Clarity of presentation and organization

The review process typically takes 4–6 weeks, depending on the availability of reviewers. Final acceptance decisions are made by the Editor-in-Chief in consultation with the editorial board.

Publication Frequency

IJEmCE publishes articles on a regular issue-based system. Each issue is released biannually (two times per year: April and October). Articles are collected and published collectively as part of an issue with its own Table of Contents. In certain cases, early access articles may be published online as soon as they are accepted (publish-as-you-go).

Open Access Policy

The International Journal of Embedded Computer Engineering (IJEmCE) provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that freely available research fosters the global exchange of knowledge in embedded systems and computer engineering. Authors retain copyright under a CC BY-SA 4.0 license, ensuring accessibility, sharing, adaptation, and redistribution of scholarly work, provided appropriate credit is given and any derivative works are distributed under the same license.

Screening Plagiarism

All manuscripts submitted to this journal will undergo plagiarism screening prior to the review process. The journal uses plagiarism detection software to ensure the originality of the content. Articles indicated to have a similarity index exceeding the acceptable threshold (maximum 27%) will be returned to the authors for revision or rejected. Authors are fully responsible for the originality of their manuscripts.
