Journal History

Jurnal Entropi (JE) is a peer-reviewed journal published by the Department of Chemistry, Gorontalo State University. This journal was first published in 2006 with ISSN (Print) 1907-1965 which is published every year in February and August. In the first volume until 2023, it will consistently publish the scientific work of lecturers and practitioners in Gorontalo and its surroundings. The following are JE's historical milestones.
  1. First published (Volume 1 Issue 1) in February 2006 with ISSN (Print) 1907-1965 which is published every year in February and August and the publisher is Department of Educational Chemistry, the citation style uses APA style (American Psychological Association style).
  2. The JE editorial office is on Jl. Jenderal Sudirman No. 6 Gorontalo 96128, Gorontalo, Indonesia.

  3. Starting in 2021, the JE Editorial Office will move to Jl. Prof. Dr. Ing. B.J. Habibie, Moutong, Tilongkabila, Bone Bolango 96554, Gorontalo, Indonesia.
  4. Starting in September 2023, JE will use a new template.
  5. Starting March 2024, the citation style will be changed to use the 7th edition APA style.
  6. Starting in 2024, JE's publication schedule will be changed from February and August to March and September with New ISSN (Print) XXXX-XXXX and the publisher is Department of Chemistry, Universitas Negeri Gorontalo.
