Pengaruh Pendidikan Karakter Terhadap Motivasi Belajar Siswa Pada Mata Pelajaran Ekonomi
Abstract
This research aims to determine the extent of the influence of character education on students’ learning motivation in Economics subject for Grade XI of Social Science at SMA Negeri 1 Kabila, Bone Bolango Regency. The research employs a quantitative approach with a descriptive quantitative method involving a sample of 57 students. Data collection techniques include observations, questionnaires, documentation, and data analysis using Simple Regression. The results indicate a positive and significant influence of character education on students’ learning motivation in Economics subject for Grade XI of Social Science at SMA Negeri 1 Kabila, Bone Bolango Regency. The coefficient of determination obtained from the regression model is 0,342, which means that 34,2% of the variability in students’ learning motivation is explained by the character education implemented by teachers within the school environment, especially in the classroom. In other words, the better the character education implemented by teachers, the higher the students’ learning motivation. The remaining 65,8% of variability is influenced by other variables not examined in this research.
