Pengaruh Literasi Ekonomi Terhadap Perilaku Konsumtif Mahasiswa Fakultas Ekonomi Dan Bisnis Angkatan 2021 Universitas Negeri Gorontalo
Abstract
This study aims to investigate the impact of economic literacy on consumptive behavior among students of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Class of 2021, Universitas Negeri Gorontalo. The study employs a quantitative approach using descriptive study methods. Primary data were collected through a questionnaire distributed to the 2021 Faculty of Economic and Business cohort. The sample size for this study was 86 respondents. Data analysis was conducted using simple linear regression analysis with SPSS 21.0 software. The result indicate that 1) Economic literacy positively and significantly impacts the students’ consumptive behavior. This is evidenced by the significance test results where the calculated t-count > t-table is 3.786 > 1.988 at a 5% significance level, leading to the rejection of H0 and confirmation of H1. 2) The hypothesis test results affirm that “There is an impact of economic literacy on the consumptive behavior among students of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Class of 2021, Universitas Negeri Gorontalo†is acceptable. The study’s findings show a correlation coefficient (R) with a low-impact interpretation. The coefficient of determination (R-square) indicates that 14.6% of the variability in variabel Y (Consumptive Behavior) is explained by variabel X (Economic literacy). In comparison, 85.4% is influenced by other variables not examined in this study.
