- First published (Volume 1 Issue 1) in 2008 in print version only;
- Starting (Volume 2 Issue 1) in April 2009 published in print version and online version;
- The journal experienced a publishing vacuum the online version in Volume 6 Issue 1 of 2013 to Volume 11 Issue 2 of 2018 and republished the online version since volume 12 issue 1 of 2019;
- Starting in 2022, the citation style is changed using the Chicago Manual style;
- Starting in October 2022 this journal charges the following author fees. If a paper is accepted for publication, you will be asked to pay an Article Publication Fee to cover publication costs, 1.000.000 (IDR);
- Jurnal Legalitas has been accredited with a SINTA 4 by the Ministry of Research and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia No. 105/E/KPT/2022 starting from Vol. 13 No. 1 2020 to Vol. 17 No. 2 2024.
