Hubungan Tingkat Pendidikan dan Tingkat Pendapatan dengan Penggunaan Obat Keras Tanpa Resep di Kabupaten Bone Bolango
Abstract
Drugs are preparations or combinations of materials that are ready to be used to influence or investigate physiological systems or pathological conditions in the context of establishing a diagnosis, prevention, healing, recovery, improvement, health, and contraception. The more selective the action of the drug, the fewer side effects (all activities that do not help cure the disease). Potent drugs are drugs that can only be purchased at pharmacies through a doctor's prescription; the packaging and the label sign is the letter K in a red circle with a black. The purpose of this cross-sectional study was to determine the correlation between education and income level with the use of non-prescription drugs in the community. Primary data was obtained by using a questionnaire and involving 100 respondents who were taken by purposive sampling as the research sample. Furthermore, the data were analyzed univariately (percentage). The results showed that the highest level of education was the respondents who had a high school education background of 37.0%, the highest income level was Rp. 1,000,000-2,500,000 by 44%. Thus, it was concluded that there was a correlation between education level and income level with the use of non-prescription potent drugs in the community in Bandungan Village, North Bulango District, Bone Bolango Regency (0.000% ,0.5).
