STRATEGI PREHIDRASI BERBASIS ELEKTROLIT: PERBANDINGAN PENGARUH AIR KELAPA GENJAH DAN PHAROLIT TERHADAP PEMULIHAN
Abstract
Sepak bola merupakan olahraga berintensitas tinggi yang berisiko menurunkan status hidrasi dan memperlambat pemulihan kardiovaskular, terutama pada atlet remaja. Namun, studi komparatif mengenai efikasi strategi prehidrasi pada populasi atlet remaja masih terbatas, khususnya pada perbandingan penggunaan air kelapa genjah dengan Oral Rehydration Solution (ORS). Penelitian ini bertujuan membandingkan efek prehidrasi menggunakan air mineral, air kelapa genjah, dan Pharolit terhadap status hidrasi dan Heart Rate Recovery (HRR) pada atlet sepak bola remaja. Penelitian true experimental posttest-only control group ini melibatkan 45 atlet sepak bola laki-laki usia 15–18 tahun yang dibagi secara acak ke dalam tiga kelompok berdasarkan jenis cairan prehidrasi. Status hidrasi dinilai melalui persentase kehilangan massa tubuh, sedangkan HRR diukur satu menit pascalatihan. Analisis multivariat (MANCOVA, α = 0,05) menunjukkan tidak terdapat perbedaan signifikan antar jenis prehidrasi terhadap variabel status hidrasi dan HRR secara simultan (p = 0,793; η2p = 0,021). Secara deskriptif, air kelapa genjah cenderung lebih baik dalam mempertahankan hidrasi, sedangkan Pharolit berpotensi mendukung pemulihan kardiovaskular. Meskipun tidak ditemukan pengaruh yang signifikan secara statistik, masing-masing cairan memiliki potensi manfaat fisiologis yang berbeda.
