EFEKTIVITAS LATIHAN MAT PILATES TERHADAP KESTABILAN TEKANAN DARAH PEREMPUAN DEWASA MUDA

Abstract


Hipertensi merupakan salah satu faktor risiko utama penyakit kardiovaskular, sehingga pengendalian tekanan darah sejak usia muda menjadi penting. Mat Pilates merupakan latihan low-impact yang menekankan kontrol postur, pernapasan, dan stabilitas inti, serta berpotensi menjadi strategi non-farmakologis untuk membantu mengelola tekanan darah. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengevaluasi pengaruh latihan Mat Pilates terhadap tekanan darah pada perempuan dewasa muda berusia 22–35 tahun. Penelitian menggunakan desain kuasi-eksperimental one-group pretest-posttest dengan enam partisipan yang dipilih secara purposive. Program latihan dilaksanakan selama empat minggu dengan frekuensi tiga kali per minggu (12 sesi) dan durasi sekitar 60 menit per sesi. Tekanan darah diukur menggunakan sfigmomanometer digital sebelum dan sesudah program. Hasil uji paired sample t-test menunjukkan rata-rata tekanan darah sistolik menurun dari 121 mmHg menjadi 105 mmHg (p = 0,059; d = 0,69), dan tekanan darah diastolik menurun dari 78 mmHg menjadi 68 mmHg (p = 0,089; d = 0,60). Meskipun kedua perubahan tersebut belum mencapai signifikansi statistik, besar pengaruh (effect size) tergolong sedang, yang mengindikasikan potensi manfaat praktis dari latihan Mat Pilates dalam membantu mengelola tekanan darah. Diperlukan penelitian lanjutan dengan jumlah sampel yang lebih besar untuk mengonfirmasi temuan ini.
