Author Guidelines

AUTHOR GUIDELINES

General Requirements

  1. Jambura Journal of Animal Science is a national journal intended as a communication forum for Animal science.  Jambura Journal of Animal Science received a manuscript in areas of Animal breeding and Genetic; Animal Productions and Reproduction; feed and nutrition Animal; Animal products science and technology; Socio-economic, and policy for Animal Science; Animal Health, Health of Veterinary Public; and Expectation of wildlife. Manuscripts should be submitted online. http://ejurnal.ung.ac.id/index.php/jjas/about/submissions. It is understood that the submitted paper is not being considered for publication in other journals. All articles for this journal must be submitted using our online submissions system
  2. The manuscript is the result of research, policy analysis or ideas on actual topics within the scope of animal science
  3. manuscripts were written in Indonesian or English. Indonesian scripts are written following the general guidelines for improved Indonesian spelling (PUEBI)

  7. Every writer who submits an article to the Jambura Animal Husbandry Science Journal must provide 2 potential reviewers. Review requirements (Have a Scopus ID, email, and google scholar, prospective reviewers are not institutional partners) sent to email: redaksi.jjas@ung.ac.id

Writing Standards

Manuscripts in Indonesian and/or English are typed in the MS.WORD process, or an earlier version, Book Antiqua font type, double spaced, written in 1 column, maximum 15 pages of A4 paper (210 x 297). The size of the manuscript frame: left 2.5 cm, right 2.5 cm, top 2.5 cm, bottom 2.5 cm.

Procedure For Manuscript Writing

  1. Title of article size 14, bold, centered single space, brief, clear, concise and precise, describing the result of the study to be communicated
  2. Author's name without an academic degree, font size 11, bold. Follow below with affiliates, font size 10, along with the full address for correspondence and Email.
  3. Abstract in English, maximum of 250 words, font size 10, two space. Abstracts are written in full to illustrate the essence of the text and contain keywords
  4. Keywords maximum of 10 words, font size 10, italic, arranged in the alphabet from the left to the right.
  5. the article is displayed in justification format (flattened right-left), font size 11. Citation in the text according to the Author-year system. In full, the body of the article contains the following elements:
  • The research result article includes Introduction, Research Methods, Result and Discussion, Conclusions, Acknowledgements (if necessary), and References.
  • The introduction is written efficiently and describes the background, purpose and supporting library
  • Research methods (research results) are written in complete and detailed so the research is very likely to be repeated by other researchers, especially those matters relating to materials, sampling, procedures, research designs, and data processing.
  • Results and Discussion include the results obtained as well as interpretations that are linked to the results of previous studies.
  • Conclusions are written concisely and describe the substance of the research result which is obtained.
  • References:

- References arranged alphabetically, font size 11.

- Manuscripts that are in preparation or have been sent (submitted) for   publication, unpublished observations, communication personal, etc. are not included in the references but only referred to in the text (author, year).

-  Citing libraries from the internet is only allowed from sources that  can       be accounted for, such as journals, government or private agencies.        Writing references  from the internet to include the date the data was       taken

-  Reference contains the names of authors who refer to the text, compiled alphabetically by author and year of publication.

-  Writing references in the form of a book containing all the names of authors, years, titles book, publisher and city of publication.

- Writing a journal in the form of an author's name, year, the title of the paper, journal name, volume, publication number, and page.

 - Articles in the book include the author's name, year, the title of the article, editor, title books, publishers and places.

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  2. The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.

  3. Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  4. if submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed

  5. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
  6. As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

    • The manuscript has not been published at all before or and not considered for publication in another journal.
    • Writing must be in accordance with the guidelines of writing a journal article JJAS
    • Writing or article in accordance with the template provided.
    • Article Processing Charges (APCs)

The author who publishes in  Jambura Journal of Animal Science (JJAS) agrees to the following terms:
