PENINGKATAN KOMPETENSI GURU MADRASAH DALAM INTEGRASI ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE UNTUK OPTIMALISASI PEMBELAJARAN BERBASIS NILAI KEISLAMAN

Abstract


The development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) has significantly influenced the education sector; however, its implementation in Islamic-based educational institutions remains limited due to ethical considerations and alignment with Islamic values. This community service program aimed to enhance teachers’ competencies in integrating AI into the learning process without compromising religious principles. The activity was conducted through a seminar and workshop at Madrasah Madani Alauddin, Gowa Regency, involving 39 teachers from three educational levels, using lectures, application demonstrations, interactive discussions, and short evaluations. AI-based tools such as ChatGPT, Magic School, and Teachy were introduced to support lesson planning, assessment development, and instructional media design. The results showed high participant enthusiasm and satisfaction, with 77% rating the activity as “Very Good,” 19.1% as “Good,” and 3.8% as “Fair,” while 87% of teachers actively participated in discussions and practical sessions. Nevertheless, challenges were identified in prompt formulation and critical evaluation of AI-generated content, indicating the need for continuous mentoring to ensure optimal, ethical, and sustainable AI implementation in Islamic educational institutions.
