Pertumbuhan dan Efisiensi Pakan pada Benih Ikan Gurame yang Dipuasakan secara Periodik

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to determine the efficiency of carp (Osphronemus gourami) feed and to determine the effectiveness of carp fasting time. Data obtained during the research in the form of increase in fish weight and length, measurements of water quality (temperature, pH and DO) secondary data, namely supporting data obtained from literature. This research used a completely randomized design (CRD) with 5 treatments and 3 replications. The fish were fasted for 24 hours and then the length was measured and the weight was weighed as data on the length and initial body weight of the fish. Based on the research, it can be seen that the growth rate of carp in all treatments increased, the growth rate of carp in length ranged from 8.2 – 9.1 cm. The results of weight measurements showed that the highest absolute weight growth was in treatment B of 4.51 grams, treatment F of 3.78grams, A of 3.72 grams, treatment D of 3.61 grams, treatment of 3.50 grams and the lowest was in treatment E which was 3.41 grams. The smallest feed conversion was found in treatment B with a value of 2.11 gr, Treatment A with a value of 2.46 gr, Treatment C with a value of 2.51 gr , Treatment E with a value of 2.56, Treatment D with a value of 2.77, Treatment F with a value of 2.90. Gouramy feed efficiency Treatment B has the highest feed efficiency value with a value of 4.51% compared to treatment F (3.78%), A (3.72%), treatment D with a value of 3.61%, treatment C (3.50%), and treatment E (3.41%).
