NIKé Jurnal Ilmiah Perikanan dan Kelautan is a peer-reviewed journal published by the Faculty of Marine and Fisheries Technology, Universitas Negeri Gorontalo. This journal is available in print and online and highly respects publication ethics and avoids plagiarism. NIKé Jurnal Ilmiah Perikanan dan Kelautan serves as a national journal aimed at providing a communication forum for academics, researchers, practitioners, and stakeholders involved in the fields of fisheries and marine science. The journal seeks to disseminate the latest research findings across various aspects of fisheries and marine science, both fundamental and applied. In addition to original research articles, the journal also welcomes review papers that can stimulate further scientific development and research in the field. The scope of the journal includes, but is not limited to, the following topics:

Before Submission

The author has to make sure that the manuscript has been prepared using NIKé's template following the author guidelines and is not a single author submission. The single author's paper is reserved for invited authors or authors who have a great reputation for research or publication in Fisheries and Marine Science. The manuscript should also have been carefully proofread and a similarity check performed (the proofreading certificate and similarity check result must be attached as a supplementary file in the submission process). Any manuscript which does not meet the author guidelines, focus, and scope, is written in a different format, or has poor soundness of English, will be immediately rejected. Only the manuscript which meets the NIKé standard will be processed further.

It is strongly recommended that you first evaluate the suitability of your manuscript using the Self-Review Instrument Form, available in the Journal sidebar. When submitting your manuscript, please include the results of your assessment as a supplementary file.
