Author Guidelines

Before submitting a manuscript to AGRIBISNIS: Jurnal Ilmiah Pengabdian Pada Masyarakat (AJIPPM), authors are expected to follow the writing guidelines provided in the official journal template.

Submission Requirements

Authors must comply with the following requirements before submitting their manuscripts:

  1. The manuscript submitted to AJIPPM has not been published elsewhere and is not under review or consideration by any other journal.

  2. The author is fully responsible for the entire content of the manuscript submitted to AJIPPM.

  3. Manuscript submission must be conducted through the Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform.

  4. Before submission, authors must register on the journal’s website. If already registered, please log in directly.

  5. Ensure that the topic and focus of your manuscript align with the aims and scope of AJIPPM.

  6. Manuscripts may be written in Bahasa Indonesia (following Pedoman Umum Ejaan Bahasa Indonesia – PUEBI) or in English.

  7. Manuscripts must contain a minimum of 3,000 words and a maximum of 9,000 words, excluding tables, figures, and references.

  8. It is recommended to use one of the following reference management tools: Mendeley, EndNote, Zotero, or any equivalent software.

  9. The manuscript must follow the official journal template provided by AJIPPM.

  10. Manuscripts must include at least 10 references, with 75% of them derived from journal articles published within the last ten years.

  11. Manuscripts must be submitted in Microsoft Word format (.docx) with the following specifications:

  • Paper size: A4 (210 x 297 mm)

  • Page margins: left 3 cm, top 3 cm, right 3 cm, bottom 3 cm

  • Font: Times New Roman

  • Font size: 12 pt (except title 14 pt, author names 12 pt, affiliations 10 pt, and email addresses 10 pt)

  • Line spacing: 1.0

  • Paragraph spacing: 6 pt before and after

  • Foreign words or terms must be written in italics.

12. Manuscript Components

Title

The title must be written in both Bahasa Indonesia and English (the English title should be italicized and bold). The title must be clear, concise, and no more than 14 words. Each main word in the title should begin with a capital letter. Use Times New Roman, 14 pt, single spacing, and center alignment.

Author Names, Affiliations, and Emails

Authors’ names must be written clearly without academic titles. Use Times New Roman, 12 pt, single spacing, and center alignment.
Affiliations should be written in 10 pt, single spacing, and centered.
Authors’ email addresses must also be included, written in Times New Roman, 10 pt, single spacing, and centered.

Abstract

The abstract must be written in both Bahasa Indonesia and English, with a maximum length of 250 words in a single paragraph, using Times New Roman 12 pt, justified alignment, and single spacing.
It should briefly describe the background, objectives, methods, results, and conclusions of the community service activity.

Keywords

Provide 3–5 keywords that represent the core concepts of the manuscript. Keywords should appear in both abstracts (Indonesian and English), written in lowercase, separated by commas (,), using Times New Roman 12 pt.

Introduction

The introduction should be enriched with literature from proceedings, theses, dissertations, books, and journal articles (preferably with a higher proportion of journal references).
It must include:

  1. Background: A general overview of the problem, followed by a description of the main issue addressed by the community service activity and its significance.

  2. State of the Art / Previous Studies: A brief summary of previous relevant studies to highlight recent developments in the topic, limited to articles published within the last 10 years.

  3. Objectives: The final paragraph should clearly state the problem statement and objectives of the community service activity.

Use Times New Roman 12 pt, justified alignment, single spacing, with 6 pt spacing before and after paragraphs.

Method of Implementation

This section should describe the methods and procedures used in the community service activity, including location, duration, participants, tools, and supporting resources.
Use Times New Roman 12 pt, justified alignment, single spacing.

Results and Discussion

This section presents the findings and outcomes of the community service activity, including outputs and documentation such as photos, tables, or graphs.
Authors should explain how the activities were conducted to achieve their objectives, the indicators of success, and the criteria used to assess the outcomes.
Discuss the strengths and limitations of the program and the relevance of the results to local community conditions.
Documentation may include process photos, prototype images, tables, and figures.

Conclusion

The conclusion should not contain references. It must summarize the key findings and clearly reflect the results, strengths, weaknesses, and potential future development of the program.
It can be written in paragraph form or as bullet points/numbered lists.

Acknowledgment (if applicable)

If the author wishes to acknowledge parties who contributed to funding or supporting the work, please do so briefly and clearly, not exceeding 90 words. Avoid overly long expressions of gratitude.

References

References must include at least 10 sources, with 75% derived from journal articles published within the last 10 years.
Authors are required to use one of the following citation tools: Mendeley, EndNote, or Zotero, and follow the American Psychological Association (APA) 7th Edition referencing style.

Example reference formats will be provided in the journal template.

⚠️ Notes:

  • All references must be written in APA 7th Edition style.

  • Only include references that are cited in the manuscript.

  • References should primarily come from recent journal articles (last 10 years).

  • The DOI or URL must be included when available.

 

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).

  2. The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
  3. Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  4. The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.

  5. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  6. If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.
 

Copyright Notice

When submitting a manuscript to AGRIBISNIS: Jurnal Ilmiah Pengabdian Pada Masyarakat (AJIPPM), the authors agree to the following policies:

1. License

The use of the article will be governed by the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial license as currently displayed on the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC).

2. Author's Warranty

The author guarantees that this article is original, written by the mentioned author, not previously published, does not contain statements that violate the law, does not infringe on the rights of others, is subject to copyright exclusively owned by the author and free from third-party rights, and that written permission required to quote from other sources has been obtained by the author.

3. User Rights

The spirit of AJIPPM is to disseminate published articles as freely as possible. Under the Creative Commons license, AJIPPM allows users to copy, distribute, display, and perform related activities with articles and the development of knowledge. Users also need to give attribution to the author and AJIPPM when distributing works in journals and other publishing media.

4. Author's Rights

Authors retain all their rights to the published work, including (but not limited to) the following rights:

Copyright and other ownership rights related to the article, such as patent rights, The right to use the substance of the article in their own future works, including lectures and books, The right to reproduce the article for personal use, The right to enter into separate contractual agreements for non-exclusive distribution of the published version of the article (for example, publishing it in an institutional repository or publishing it in a book), with acknowledgment of its initial publication in AJIPPM.

5. Joint Authors

If an article is jointly authored by more than one author, each author submitting the manuscript guarantees that they have obtained permission from all joint authors to agree to the copyright notice and this license on their behalf, and agrees to inform fellow authors about the terms of this policy. AJIPPM will not be responsible for any disputes that may arise due to internal author conflicts. AJIPPM will only communicate with the author acting as the corresponding author.

6. Royalties

As an open-access journal distributing articles freely under the mentioned Creative Commons license, authors acknowledge that AJIPPM does not provide royalties or other fees to authors.

The names and email addresses entered in this journal site will be used exclusively for the stated purposes of this journal and will not be made available for any other purpose or to any other party.
