Pengaruh Pelaksanaan Program Pengenalan Lapangan Persekolahan (PLP) Terhadap Kesiapan Menjadi Guru Pada Mahasiswa Angkatan 2020 Jurusan Pendidikan Ekonomi

Abstract


This research aimed to determine the impact of implementing the School Field Introduction Program (PLP) on the readiness to become teachers among students of Class of 2020 at Department of Economics Education, Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Negeri Gorontalo. The research approach used in this research was quantitative with descriptive methods. The data used included primary data from distributing questionnaires to students of the Department of Economics Education Class of 2020, Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Negeri Gorontalo. The samples involved in this research were 60 respondents, whereas the data analysis used simple linear regression analysis with the help of the SPSS 21 program. The research findings revealed the presence of a positive and significant impact between the Implementation of the School Field Introduction Program (PLP) on the Readiness to Become Teachers among students of the Class of 2020 at the Department of Economics Education, Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Negeri Gorontalo. The coefficient of determination value from the previously obtained regression model was 0.342, indicating that 34,2% of the variability in Readiness to Become Teachers was elucidated by the Implementation of the School Field Introduction Program (PLP) which was attended by Class of 2020 Students, Department of Economics Education, Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Negeri Gorontalo. In other words, the better the Implementation of the School Field Introduction Program (PLP), the greater the Readiness to Become Teachers among students of the Class of 2020 at the Department of Economics Education, Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Negeri Gorontalo. In the meantime, the value generated or impacted by other variabel not examined in this research was 65,8%
