Evaluasi Pelayanan Informasi Obat Pada Pasien Tuberkulosis di Puskesmas Provinsi Banten

Abstract


Pharmacists have an obligation to carry out drug information services that are based on the interests of patients. Among the drug information services that must be provided by a pharmacist is Knowledge regarding the use of medications that are appropriate, safe, and affordable by the community and details regarding the use of medications delivered to patients. The purpose of this research is to ascertain how drug information services affect tuberculosis patients at Puskesmas Banjarsari Banten and Puskesmas Picung. An analytical research utilizing a cross-sectional technique, sample used with total sampling of 120 patients who must meet the inclusion criteria. The results showed that, with a total score of 95.33%, Puskesmas Picung and Banjarsari in Banten Province received a very good score, which means that they have fulfilled Regulation of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia No. 74 of 2016, concerning Pharmaceutical Service Standards at Puskesmas. Puskesmas have provided a special room for conducting TB PIO (100%), information on drug side effects (92.5%), drug interactions (65.8%), and drug storage information (95%), but there is still a negative gap of -4.67% in the assessment of information on drug dosage, method of use, frequency of treatment, and schedule for taking the next drug.
